Ingredients(serves 5)

  • 15 Pieces Chicken pieces
  • 10 Pieces Small onions (shallots)
  • 3 Pieces Garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp Whole coriander seeds
  • 12 Pieces Dry red chillies
  • 1 tsp Fennel seeds
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tbsp Kashmiri chilly powder
  • 2 Sprigs Curry leaves
  • Salt
  • Coconut Oil/ Cooking oil

Instructions

Grind the small onions, garlic, coriander seeds, red chillies, pepper, saunf, turmeric powder, Kashmiri chilli powder, salt, and a little curry leaves into a thick paste. Marinate the chicken over night or for at least 1 hour

Heat an iron skillet or frying pan on medium flame. Add enough coconut oil or cooking oil for frying. Allow the oil to become hot properly. Gently place the marinated chicken pieces into the hot oil with fresh curry leaves until golden and aromatic
